Owned by Bodi & Courtney Hanks. Employee and great right hand man, Bodi’s brother, Bret Hanks.

Bodi started his work experience at a young age in the sign shop. He was born and raised in Payson, graduated from Payson High School, and settled near by in Santaquin.

In the beginning, Bodi worked for his parents, and ran the sign shop. Bodi attended many trainings and conventions introducing him to the new possibilities out there with all the modern technology available. After some persuasion and insistence on Bodi’s part, in 2006 was finally able to update the sign shop, with state of the art printing equipment. Being careful to maintain the feel of a “small town, custom shop”, Bodi was able to offer new, exciting things to their customers.

In 2009 Bodi became the new owner of Hanks Signs. Already having a taste for new opportunities, Bodi decided to add another service to Hanks Signs, screen printing. Working along side each other, Bodi and Bret provide the whole sign & design service from start to finish. Both are very talented Graphic Designers, designing many of Payson’s businesses’ logos around town and surrounding areas. After the actual design is complete, each job is printed, built, and installed by Hanks Signs. Let us not forget all our generous friends and family that are willing to jump in and help when we need an extra hand. We would like to commend Bret, for being a trusted, talented, and dedicated employee for the past three years.

Hanks Signs provides service all over Utah Valley, Emery County, Tooele area, Delta, and has always been willing to travel to provide the same service we provide for our Payson locals. started business 12 years ago. My first year of business was locacted in Spanish Fork, Ut and then moved into my home town of Salem, Ut and built a shop there. After 7 years in Salem I had the opportunity to sell and build a bigger and better and hopefully my final place of business in Payson, Ut. Cars have always been a hobby to me. Randy and RaNel Webster started Southgate Hardware in March of 1991. ReNel states, "We bought the store from Reed Money who was running Money’s Home Center. We moved our four children to Payson and began the adventure of owning our own business. Randy’s grandfather started the family in the hardware business in Midvale, Utah where he opened up Webster’s Inc. Randy began working there with his grandfather, father and uncles. He thought about having his own store and when the opportunity came to purchase Money’s Home Center, he and RaNel decided it was a good! chance to start on their own. All four of our children, Justin, Josh, Cameron and Mindy worked at the store through their high school years. At the present time they are all working at other jobs, but there are times you can see some of them still there helping out. It was a great move for us to bring our family to Payson. Now that they are all married and have given us 11 grandchildren life is even better! The next generation of hardware store workers is up and coming. Some of our grandsons want to know when they can start working at Southgate! We have loved living here this past 20 years.
